International Yoga Day

What is it that you miss today? Do you miss your days as a child . A child who had no worries to lose , everyone by his or her side. A child who knew how to have fun with the silliest things around. A child who just wanted to run around free in the crowd. Knowing well there were many who would take care of everything. Do you miss being the teenager who felt a sense of being the boss in the house. Who was just stepping into adulthood and was being treated as one in the house. The one who still could fight and disagree with his or her loved ones , assured that they will always take care of everything. Do you miss being the young, smart, beautiful crush of someone in the group around or the one looking out for love and being the new buzz of the town. Do you miss the secrets that you shared with friends which were not let out and the one who could just argue, be loud and just walk out with friends or to their house. Do you miss the exchange of love and the dates that you had made or the ones for you. Where the eyes did meet and the heart just danced thinking of someone special and new. Do you miss these phases?
Well I do miss this carefree, affectionate, naughty, loud, fearless, and a lover around. Yes all of you who are listening today. You have forgotten being so full of life , so easy to understand people . People , courageous to speak and stand for what they believed and have an opinion of their own. People who could live free and not be manipulative or sly in any way. The friends that would be for a lifetime and not just till their needs were attended to. The lover who waited and made sure to meet and speak. Most importantly take out time to do so.
Apart from this the vigour, the youth, the alertness fast disappearing in your life. You have exhausted yourself completely in a very sedentary lifestyles. A style where comfort is priority. Where health looks around , trying to pull out the energy from where ever it can to keep you going. A point has been reached when you are bogged down by concerning issues of both mind and health. You never made your life easy but you did make yourself lazy. You have reached a stage when you run not to enjoy but to chase dreams. You speak not to be heard but to be checked. You meet not to relax or unwind but for conversations that make you climb up ladders of success but not sturdy or balanced enough to stand still. You have lost flexibility in every aspect of life where you give time to things that if lost can be bought back but not for health that takes a lot to come back. So today on international yoga day make an effort to stop your chase in life but start living it . As the term Yoga means unity of both heart and mind. It’s important to take charge of yourself and bring back the flexibility, the smartness that was there in your life. Learn to breathe in positivity and let out the negative aspects in life. Take a deep breath and close your eyes to imagine what you miss today.
